Get Ready for Love Your World Week!
Love Your World Week begin with Earth Day on Monday, April 22 and culminate with the Intercultural Festival on Saturday, April 27. Student council came up with the name "Love Your World" week to celebrate both love for Mother Earth as well as the peoples and cultures of the world. Special events will include a no-waste picnic on April 22, "clean-it-up and fix-it-up" classroom projects, and a special assembly on Thursday, April 25. All teachers will guide their classes through morning meeting activities that celebrate the world, and everyone in the school community is invited to write and share "The Story of My Name" on our community display board. On Saturday, April 27, we invite the entire school community to join together to celebrate the countries, cultures, foods, music, and people of the earth.
